Jama Russano, founder of EcoNatura® and it's children's brand Ruby-Blue Bunny™  focuses on building the first line of skin care products independently tested and certified according NSF/ANSI 305: Personal Care Standards. All brands are certified free of endocrine disruptors(natural and synthetic) and harsh chemical ingredients based on our extensive 'NO LIST" – the most complete list of industrial irritants, carcinogens, and hormone disruptors typically used in skin care products. 

After personally suffering from multiple sensitivities due to an adverse reaction to a medical device implant, Jama started EcoNatura and began years of research to understand the reasons behind her reactions to skin care products on the market. She discovered that 1 of 8 of the 82,000 ingredients used in cosmetic and personal care products are hazardous industrial chemicals, and that the US federal government does not require any health studies or pre-market testing on personal care products. (FDA regulations, for example, do not specifically prohibit the use of carcinogens, mutagens or endocrine-disrupting chemicals.).
